Terms of Service

Agreement
By commissioning me for any fursuit or project work you are confirming you have read and accepted all of Piñata Projects’ Terms of Service. You must be at least 18+ to commission. Pinata Projects LLC is not liable for any injuries that have occurred while wearing the product.

Allergy Warning and Repair Policy

I own 3 cats who I can’t keep from my workspace. If the buyer is severely allergic to cats I encourage commissioning elsewhere. As for the repair policy: I will repair any imperfections on the buyer's suit after receiving up to one month of coverage, buyer only pays shipping. After this grace period is up I will charge for repairs and shipping of the suit on a case by case basis. I recommend all clients learn basic sewing skills for easy repairs and maintenance.

Quotes

  • I require a quote to be given before the commission discussions start.

  • In order to receive a quote you must fill out the google form here. For this form I will need an unshaded reference sheet that includes the front, back, and small details of the suit. Small details include: mouth color, tongue color, paw pad color etc.

  • NSFW refs and refs made using AI are not permitted.

  • Please link an account that is not private so I am able to dm you.

  • Quote pricing is determined through many factors such as: amount of colors, complexity of markings, size of ears and tail, and any extras the buyer requests.

  • If a reference is inaccurate and the buyer has not pointed it out it is not my responsibility to have known which marking is correct.

  • The design of the character/suit cannot be changed once payment has started except for minor adjustments.

Payment

  • In order to be added to my fursuit queue, the buyer must provide 30% of the amount as a down payment. This 30% is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Once payment is received, the project will be added to the queue. The project will not be completed until at least 90% of the amount is paid.

  • Payment plans are available and can be discussed and agreed upon, although I prefer short plans.

  • Payment plans are not accepted on small part commissions (such as tail only, arm sleeves only, etc)

  • If payments are not being received as promised I hold the right to cancel the commission.

  • Deadlines cannot be earlier than the last payment date.

  • All payment is made through PayPal Invoice. A PayPal account is not required to pay an invoice.

  • Refunds are not issued after the project has been started, if a refund is asked before the project is started it will be issued all except the 30% down payment.

Shipping

I ship from Pennsylvania in the US.
I charge shipping at the end of the process so I give an accurate amount of what I paid for it. I use a separate invoice for shipping. The shipping payment has to be sent before the estimated time of arrival.
After shipment payment is sent I will provide the corresponding tracking number. If the package is damaged or lost I cannot provide a refund, once the package is out of my hands I am no longer responsible for it’s safety.
International shipping: I am willing to ship internationally if the buyer is fully aware of the risks and costs. Unexpected customs charges may occur and it’s not my responsibility to pay for these costs or to pay for any damages done in shipping. If the buyer agrees to these risks then I am willing to ship overseas.
